Teacher Appreciation

I love Teacher Appreciation Week!  I think it's wonderful to bless all of our teachers with a little love at this time of the year!

This is the only time that I deviate from my rule of cash.

You can also give consumables (things she can use up), eat, or add to her classroom.

Consumables include:  office supplies, prizes for the class, note cards, glue sticks, etc.

Eat:  lunch brought in for her, a smoothie, or a gift card to a favorite restaurant

Classroom:  add to the classroom library.  Donate a book from your child and add his or her name to the front.

See if she has a Wish List that you can buy from.  I would always put card stock, playground equipment (hula hoops, footballs), dry erase markers, games, crayons, scissors, more glue sticks, and class sets of things.

If your school or teachers do not have a Wish List program, see if you can start one!  I'll never forget a mom showing up with 3 bags of items for my classroom.  If she hadn't bought them, I would have.  Such a blessing!

Some of the first time room moms need info like this. Otherwise, it's just word of mouth over time. Room mom tutorial in the works? This is so helpful!
