Fingerprint World Tutorial

Celebrate the Earth!  This is the last in the fingerprint art series!  I hope you enjoyed the heart and the dove... now here is the world!  This one was done with the others, but it was saved out for my Dad's birthday.  Happy Birthday Dad / Grandad!

We followed the same directions from the bird post, except this time my sister's family did the land and my family did the water.

In progress, before the land was added.
There were 5 projects total:

  • The heart traveled almost 3000 miles (by mail) for my grandmother's birthday.
  • One bird stayed with my sister's family.
  • One bird came back to my home.
  • One bird and the world went to my parent's home.

Overall, it was a great project.... I'm happy it's done, but it's fun to know that we all have them in our homes!

This is such a great project! We made it with the 10 graduating kindergarteners from my daughters class as a gift to the teacher/classroom and it turned out great! Wish I could post a pic!! Thanks for a great idea!
