The Secret to Success for SAND ART with Kids

We absolutely LOVE sand art!  The dumping and color layering can be quite therapeutic.  We’ve also added GLITTER to some of our creations.  Click here for the sparkly fun!

We’ve even tried to make our own colored “sand”, click here .
Ready to find out how we did the above picture without the sand coming out?  
Drum Roll Please………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. GLUE!

That’s it!  When the creation is done, add some glue at the top, put the top on and let it dry.  Done! No more sand art spilled creations!

  9. Nana – thanks for stopping by! Craft stores usually sell colored sand. Usually the little containers are sold right next to them. Hope you find them!
