Woot! Woot! Stacy is a huge fan of Math Superstars and incorporated it into Summer Points this year. Both of her kids have been wildly successful with the program. In fact, it’s her son’s favorite way to earn points!
I’ve always called it Math Superstars, but the site I’m going to share with you calls it Sunshine Math. It is used in many school districts as an enrichment program. It was created to be a problem-solving enrichment math program.
Note: Please make sure your child’s school is not using it before you begin. Reviewing for summer challenge is fine, but going ahead of the teacher…. not so much.
How can you get this valuable resource for free?
My friend found a private school that puts all of their Sunshine Math papers on-line!! For K-5 printables click here
Stacy made this awesome printable you can use it too. Click here
How to use it: The stars and planets match the number of pages they need to complete. When they finish both sides of a page they put a sticker on a star, planet, or sun. When everything on the the chart has a sticker they get the points or prize.
Thank you so much for sharing this Stacy! I can’t wait to use it with my kids next summer!
